The good and the bad. The benefits that work in favor and the things that a sales website won’t tell you but you need to know to protect yourself.

HD aviators

I’ll do the review going about each benefit that the HD Aviators are supposed to give you.

#1 – HD Aviators reduce glare from the sun

Simply put, yes they do. The glasses do help to reduce glare from the sun and will be really useful to those who need to be outdoors a lot during their day. In Addition, these are also UV resistant. Meaning they do not let harmful Ultra Violet Rays from the sun hit your eyes.

This is also helped by the fact that HD Aviators have a nice curvature that gives your eyes protection from the sides as well and doesn’t let the sun come in from the sides.

Butter Cup 7 from Florida says on 23 May 2011:
We ride horses and go trailriding each weekend. These are great for all day wearing and do cut down on glare. We see accurately and they are comfortable to wear all day. No more headaches!

#2 – HD Aviators High Definition Color and Clarity

When you first wear them, everything looks weird. They are not your usual sun glasses. But then, they aren’t meant to be a normal pair of sunglasses…

As you’ve worn them for a while, they grow on you real quick and the world does look a lot brighter and clearer.

JoanLee from Texas Says on 22nd June 2011:
At first I didn’t think I’d like these sunglasses because of the lens color. Looking through the glasses was strange at first because everything is yellow and bright instead of dark, but I got used to it quickly because everything is so clear and the UV protection is so important. They fit my face nicely and don’t sit on my cheeks and are very comfortable, and now I really like them.

#3 – HD Aviators are sturdy and impact resistant

That is absolutely not true! Of all the good things people have to say about the HD Aviators, almost everyone is in agreement that they need to be a better quality. They break and scratch easily.

Is that a deal breaker? I wouldn’t say so. At just 10 bucks I don’t expect an HD pair of glasses to last me a lifetime.

The Purple Aussie from Brisbane says on 2nd March 2011:
nice pair of glasses. See very bright but scratches easily. Other than that nice pair for price.

HD Aviators Appearance

The glasses really are stylish and look great on most people. Though I did come across some complaints from people saying they were too big for their head. So if you’re someone who has a small head, then this isn’t for you. It will prolly keep falling off as there are no size options available. But again, most people who commented said its looks great on them and doesn’t sit on their cheeks so its very comfortable too.

The HD Aviators are available in two colors; Black and Bronze with a nice turtle finish on the sides.

All in all, HD Vision has done a really good job as far as the looks of these glasses are concerned.

Closing comments

HD Aviators is one of the few TV products that comes close to the “works as advertised” status. Other than the durability of these glasses, everything else will make you really happy with your purchase. But like I mentioned earlier… A $10 pair of glasses that looks great, is comfortable, gives you HD vision is a definite recommended even if it falls on the low side of durability.

It does scratch easily, but for what it does overall, 10 bucks is a steal!
